Julie Strahan has worked full-time as a receptionist/nurse since the Valley Veterinary Hospital first opened its doors. In 1995-96 she completed her Advanced Certificate in Veterinary Nursing at Tamworth, attaining a second place in the course.
With Julie's years of experience in the practice, she has naturally taken on the role of Staff Management. She is still very much an "all-rounder" though, keeping up with both nursing and reception duties.
Julie is married with two canine kids, Jessie, and Trevor plus Max a new ginger kitten. Her spare time is taken up with helping her husband Al run their cattle property and training ponies in her Australian Saddle Pony Stud. She is a familiar sight in the Pony ring at the Royal Easter Show having had the honour of judging there on two occasions.
