Louise Rourke graduated with honours from Sydney University in 1986. She set up the Valley Veterinary Hospital with her husband, Pete, in 1994.
She is our animal behavioural guru, having passed her Membership exams in 1998. This recognises her particular expertise as a vet in this field. Our Canine Good Citizen classes are run by Louise, who also gives individual consultations for behavioural problems in dogs and cats.
Louise works part time in the practice as well as being a busy mother to four girls - Becky, Emma, Annie and Kate, and Border Collie dog Jack. In her moments of spare time she plays the cello, mainly with good friends who try to meet together every fortnight
